Diabetes Treatment: Then and Now

OBJECTIVES:
  • Review prevalence and incidence of diabetes type 2.
  • Review  the previous efforts and current evidences on the remission and reversal of diabetes type 2.
  • Review the evidences on intensive therapeutic lifestyle intervention for diabetes type 2 treatment.
  • Understand the importance of appropriate dosing for lifestyle medicine intervention for diabetes type 2.
  • Identify factors impacting adherence to lifestyle interventions.
