updating MEMBERSHIP

​Regular Membership Requirements to submit together with application form:
  • Photocopy of updated and authenticated PRC card (back to back)
  • Photocopy of updated and authenticated PMA card (back to back)
  • Practice credentials (residency/diplomate/fellowship certificate)
  • Other practice modality certifications (e.g. functional medicine, integrative medicine, etc.)
  • 2 copies of 2 x 2 recent picture
  • Payment of application (P1750)

Retention as active members
General Procedure:
​To remain as active members, they must fulfill CME credit hours earned as reviewed by Committee on Membership Credentials; and must have been updated in payment of their annual membership dues on or before December 31 applicable for the next calendar year. The evaluation is conducted on or before February 28 of each year. The renewing member will be informed of her/his status in March of each year.  

Active Membership: Open to any Filipino physician who is/has:
  1. Licensed to practice medicine by the Professional Regulation Commission Board of Medicine (updated)
  2. Member of good standing of the Philippine Medical Association (updated).
  3. Updated payment of annual dues (P1750).
  4. Summary of LM practice portfolio covering LM competencies (e.g. SMA, LM programs, etc.) and advocacy.
  5. Good membership standing.
  6. Earned the required PCLM CME credit hours, complied according to the table below:​
Membership Category
Requirement
Trainee Member
He / She must attend at least 1 annual or midyear convention every year and must earn atleast 15 PCLM CME units within 3 years.
Diplomate
He/She must attend at least 1 annual or midyear convention each year and must attend Post-graduate course.  A PCLM Diplomate must earn at least 60 PCLM CME credit units yearly to maintain Certification status.
Fellow
He/She must attend at least 1 annual or midyear convention each year and must attend Post-graduate course.  A PCLM Fellow must earn a total of 90 PCLM CME credit units yearly.
Note: 
  • PCLM CME units can be earned from PCLM activities such as webinars, conferences, post-graduate course, round table discussion, speaking assignment, active committee engagement with project implementation, research and other related activities.
  • Good membership standing is defined as active participation to PCLM educational activities, scientific events, upholding ethical LM practice, maintaining professionalism with supportive attitude without divisive intent.
